If she was used as an ambulance ship in Falklands war then she is either HMS Hydra, or HMS Hecate,

If she was not used as an ambulance ship in Falklands war then she is HMS Herald.

Saturn 5 you aware that RN hydrographic vessels were traditionally painted white with buff funnels? It has only be recently that they have been painted grey.

South African Survey Ship Protea

Hello Chuck Hill,

she is indeed,a sister ship to the British Hecla class with a surprisingly large number of detail differences.
Look at the anchor recess for example.
What is the technical term for an anchor recess?
