The War In Ukraine: Starstruck

Over twenty years after entering service with the British Army,the elderly Starstreak missile has been fired in anger for the first time,by the Ukrainian armed forces,apparently accounting for a Russian Mil Mi-28 Havoc attack helicopter,but within An Independent Army For An Independent Nation the proposed replacement for both the Starstreak and Javelin missiles is the Short Range Multirole Missile,a man portable weapon system (held in a platoon at battalion level,with one section of two systems per company),which is designed to engage both aircraft and armoured vehicles out to a range of five miles.
